Grace Kathryn is Here!

Grace Kathryn arrived at 11:52pm on April 25th at the Kennestone Hospital in Marrietta, GA. She was 6 lbs and 14 ounces and 20 1/2 inches in length. Tara and Grace are both doing very well. There were no complications and everyone is healthy and beautiful. Grace is a very calm baby so far. Very quite and cute.

The children saw her today and were very sweet with her. Also, Tara's dad was in town for work, and was due to leave this morning at 8am, so he was able to come last night at around 11pm and stick around for the birth and see his 6th grandchild (#17 on the Settle side). It was great to have him there too. Tara's mom was at Hallie's birth, Ellie was at Jackson's and now her dad at Grace's.

We're excited for our newest addition. She is really a blessing and we're excited to have them home in a few days. BTW, I guess I broke my statement when this blog started that I would leave all the posting to Tara, but hopefully you'll forgive her, as she's otherwise detained :-)

Congratulations! I think she's small enough that you could stick a stamp on her forehead and mail her to me.

Congratulations to you all! Grace looks wonderful. Excellent choice of name, by the way.

You know, it's not a bad thing to have the husband take a turn on the family blog. :) There's a woeful shortage of male bloggers out there . . . at least, those that aren't primarily interested in technology or politics.

Thanks for posting Mark! She is beautiful - and Hallie looks like a natural big sister. I bet she will be so helpful.
